Experience St Ives from sea level

St Ives is a very special place. Whilst visiting, you may walk the coast path, venture up to Knills monument or contemplate the view from St Nicholas Chapel on the Island. At St Ives Watersports, we can help you experience St Ives from sea-level with or without getting wet.

Kayak tour

One of the nicest thinks about our Kayak Tours is that the kayaks are extremely stable and very easy to use. Our maximum group size is 1:6 so you will guarantee to receive plenty of attention from your guide who will cover everything from safety advice, paddle techniques and interesting local and wildlife information along the way. You will have every opportunity to get up close and personal with the local marine creatures too. Seals, dolphins, cormorants, gannets, sunfish, jellyfish and Oyster catchers are among our most frequent visitors whilst out on the water.

Stand-up paddleboard tour

Unlike our Kayak Tours, the Paddleboard Tour is aimed at people who have previous experience and can already paddle standing up. After collecting your equipment you will go through a short safety talk and briefing with your guide on the sand before departing Porthminster and heading out on the water. Our Tours are specifically scheduled over high tide to ensure the most ideal paddling conditions and also open up the opportunity to explore local sea caves, wildlife hotspots and vast coastal landscape. As all of our activities a winter wetsuit is included free of charge should you feel the need for it.
